Lely Welger is a long established company, which first began its roots as Welger in Germany back in 1899 leading up to the development of the first baler in 1928.
In the 1950s the first high pressure baler was developed and then production of the multi disc mowers began in the 1960s. Throughout the continuing year’s development of these machines progressed. In 1984 Welger was taken over by the Dutch Group Lely.
Today the company sells mowers, balers, rakes and other agricultural machinery, with its factories being found in Holland, and Germany to its world wide customer base… James Pryce Tractors Limited took on the dealership for Lely in 2003 and has seen the sale of in excess of 500 machines during this time.
